I have owned rabbits for over a decade and have been breeding them for almost 5 years. The breeds of rabbits which I raise are quite a variety ranging from various Giant breeds to different miniature ones.
The purpose behind my breeding is to safely supplies pet bunnies to all who want them as well as humanly harvest meat rabbits for consumption. Rabbits are small, sweet, and easily trained. They adjust well in different climates making it easy for them to be both an indoor pet as well as an outdoor one. People have come from Maryland, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan to buy my bunnies as family pets.
As for the meat side of things, Rabbits are extremely high in protein and have very little fat. This makes them perfect to supply both your family and pets (such as dogs) with tasty, healthy and safe meat.
