I'm currently on the search for a new mini Lion Head male to take over the roll of my little guy. He was the perfect bunny, truly one of my favorites. I've had him since he was 4 weeks old. He was 4 years old. He will be greatly missed. However, I need to think of my other bunnies, and they would do well with a new male/new blood. So, I'm hoping to find one soon.
But I currently have some young bunnies, the last of the last to sell before spring breeding. Here are the pictures I took of them this afternoon.
So...how do I have another young lop after selling all of them?
Well, I actually picked this guy...and his brother up - just a few days ago!
They were born in October and I was told they were girls. They were both free, and I figured I could get some new color variations with their new blood.
So I got them from the lady (who was extremely kind) and so as not to appear impolite, I didn't check them. If I was paying for them, then yes, I definitely would have checked them. But since they were free, I did not.
And well...my two "girls" turned out to be boys.
So now, I'm trying to find them new homes :)
Then I traded 2 bunnies and got 4 in return. 3 were lops, 2 male - 1 female. Then I also got this little girl. I believe she's about 12 weeks. Not sure on the breed, but she's really beautiful in her coloring!
Anyway, I don't really need her as she's a smaller breed of rabbit. I wouldn't have any males to breed with her.
So she needs to find a new home.
I absolutely LOVE this picture. I think she looks so cute!!!
Then for a stud service, I got 2 more bunnies...
They're two sisters. The mother was actually GG, who I sold and the father was Oreo.
So they're a mix of Giant Flemish/Satin/Lion Head and maybe a little Rex. Either way, they're going to be fairly large bunnies :)
The one looks just like GG!!!
She's so cute with her little, single mane :)
But yes, she and the black one above in the green bow are sisters.
And so, that is how I've come to have more bunnies available to sell at this current time. I also just got an email from a girl who bought a bunny from me about a month ago. She's decided it's too much work, owning a bunny. So she's bring her back. So, I'm debating whether to keep this female or sell her. Because this female was from Ginger and Olaf's litter. So she's completely unrelated to all the rabbits I own. I guess I'll just have to wait and see :)
