I know it's been some time since I've posted, so in this post, I have lots of pictures on the most recent litters we've had!
Pictured first is Misty's litter, my Single Maned Lion Head Female. There are 7 babies with my Double Maned Lion Head Phantom as the sire. This is Misty's first litter and she's doing a great job!
As you can tell from the top picture, there is a small baby I'm afraid my be a peanut. He's unable to grow any bigger, however he eats well and is very healthy.
And there's Misty, keeping a close eye on her babies :)
Around the same age is Shira, my 'meat mixed' bunny's second litter.
Shira's first litter didn't go so well, with every single baby being a peanut. However with this litter, there were no peanuts, no runts, and no underdeveloped babies. All 7 are healthy, and doing really well! Dustin's the sire to this crew :)
However, Shira's litter and the baby bunnies next door from Luna's litter keep crawling through the wire. Neither mother seems to mind, but both litters are similar in coloring, so I don't know which baby really belongs to which mom! This picture right below are the Mini Lops. I'm hoping when they get older the Lops' ears will flop properly and I'll be able to definitely tell them apart!
And here's Luna, my Mini Lop female. Gorman, my BEW Holland sired this litter.
Then for an even more recent litter...here's my Holland/Mini Lop female Cupcake's litter.
She had a total of 9 babies!! I'lll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure that's the largest litter she's ever had :) And Bruce, my Mini Lop male was the sire.
Then for a litter I'm super excited about - Tasha's!
Tasha's my Double Maned Lion Head female and was bred to my Double Maned Lion Head Phantom. There are 6 babies in the litter and just like with her last litter, I'm hoping there will be a female...preferably with some white spots like before for me to raise up. And if I'm lucky - they will have blue eyes again! :)
Then this is Kizzy's litter, born just a few days ago. This was definitely her biggest litter with a total of 6 babies. However, one was underdeveloped and consequently, stillborn. But the other 5 are doing really well! Kizzy's doing an awesome job keeping them all fed and warm :)
Kizzy, my little Lion Head female and this litter was sired by my Double Maned Lion Head male, Phantom.
And this little guy...the only baby my female Cali gave birth to. Since there was just one, I put him in with New Girl's litter so he would have enough body heat to survive. And as you can see, he's doing really well!
Here's Cali, his mother. Then he's going to be fluffy though, because his sire is also Phantom :)
Then here is New Girl's litter!
She has a large group to look after with 8 babies of her own, and 1 she's fostering up!
Oreo, my Satin male is the sire to this crew. And New Girl is doing really well keeping all the babies fed, but keeping herself and a nice, healthy weight.
Then for my Velveteen babies! Here are 3...so half of the litter :)
The other 3 were out, relaxing with their mom. Lilac's the dam of this litter while my BEW Holland Lop male, Gorman's the sire. Unfortunately, all 6 babies have the fur of the Holland, instead of the Velveteen. But on a plus side, they're all healthy, happy and doing very well!
Then this is a picture of Cupcake's litter the first day they were born.
:)
And this is a picture of Tasha's litter, the first day they were born as well.
They're both doing really well :)
Then for Misty's crew...this was from the other day.
I can't wait to have their eyes open up. With Phantom's 2 blue eyes and Misty's 2 blue eyes...I'm really really hoping the babies will have the same...and get Phantom's nice, thick coat...and be female! :)
So as you can see, all is well with these moms and their adorable litters :) And it won't be long now until more of my females have new litters as well!
