Velveteens

I recently had a moment where I seriously thought about putting my Velveteen's up for sale. 

This top picture is Lilac, and below is Francis. Both proven.  And well, I took pictures of them both and even put them up for sale.  But it wasn't even a full day later when I decided I just couldn't part with one of the sweetest breeds of bunnies I've ever known. 

And so, I'm consequently keeping them :) 

Of course, Lilac and Lily's litters are up for sale and will stay up for sale.  But the next time I breed either of my Velveteen females, it will be to Francis and Francis alone! Then I'll have some very nice, purebreds. 

And while I'm on the Velveteen trail...I must say that my sweet little fellow Brody has found a new, pet home where he'll get lots of attention, love and eat all the banana's he could want :) I'll truly miss him, but he couldn't breed and needed lots of constant, special attention...so where he is now, is much better for him.
