Rosie's Litter

So...about 3 weeks ago, my female Lion Head Rosie - who had a litter of 8 healthy, beautiful babies - unfortunately got fly-strike and passed away within 24 hours, despite many attempts to restore her back to health.

Without their mother, 3 of the babies refused to eat anything that wasn't forced and passed within a few days of their mother.  However, 3 weeks later, the 5 remaining babies are in beautiful health, gaining weight like crazy and getting sweeter with each passing day :)

Of the remaining 5, there are 4 males, 1 female.  And of course, the female I loved who was broken blue with blue eyes, was sadly one of the 3 who didn't make it.

The 5 who did are 2 black/white (one with blue eyes), 1 all black, and 2 Blue VM's.  The only female,  also one of the blue VM's, I'm keeping.  And the male blue VM I sold just the other evening.  They're 7 weeks old, soon to be 8.

Since their mother passed, they've been living in the basement were I can give them special attention, feeding milk, pellets, lots of fresh herbs, and clean water daily.
