I cleaned out the cage that had been holding Felix, put in some fresh food, water and hay; then put Smokey in it.
She's still thin. When I got her, she was really thin and I was hoping she'd start gaining weight, but she hasn't. And I think I know why.
Valentine is definitely a dominate female. She would hump Smokey and chase her around a lot. Feeling Valentine, you can tell she's eating. I think she might have been eating her fill, then whatever was left Smokey would nibble on.
Now that they're separated, I'm hoping Smokey will now begin gaining some weight. If not, I'll look up and see if there aren't any herbs I could give her to put some weight on.
As you can see, that high point on her back is actually her spinal cord. She's too thin and so I made sure and gave her a healthy portion of grain along with lots of hay and water.
All rabbits have really soft fur behind their ears. The fur there is usually a pretty coloring too. I just love petting them... :)
I was able to get some pictures of the babies!!! And their eyes are opening and they're as cute as ever!
The orange baby's eyes are really opening up!
Then I took just a few random photo's of the other bunnies :)

Even though Dadooshka had hay in her cage, she was taking hay from Chuck's cage :)
