So my puppy Dixie, she LOVES being out with me when I do the rabbits. So I bought her a bone to keep her busy while I clean up. Plus, with her chewing a bone, it keeps her from eating bunny droppings. :)
We pulled the 3 tiered cage away from the freezer to clean underneath it.
There was a LOT of poop stuck under there!
I think we got 5 or 6 five gallon buckets full just from that spot!
:)
Clearly it was really needed! So it's a good thing we cleaned it up!
Then we thought about moving the cage over here...
There's Chuck and Shira :)
And there's Bruce and Valentine :)
Then, with the rabbits out of the hutches to breed, we were able to clean the hutches out and put down some fresh wood chips :)
That was the view of the rabbitry...a bit messy :)
I'm so glad we cleaned this up!
And on the cinderblocks were tons of Tuck-n-rolls! :D
They're so much fun to watch :)
And they were all on the ground, running around the bunny droppings!
You can see that corner of the cinderblock full of them
So we moved the entire cage out, dumping all the poop out that we could.
Then we hooked up the hose (First time since before winter!) and washed it all down.
It looked SOOOO much better!! :)
Then...had to clean up the poop.
And finally, the perfect spot. We got it situated and it looks awesome over there! :)
It looked great :)
Dixie, sitting on the freezer :)
She's so cute!!!
I love her new bandana, really adorable :)
:)
As you can see, it's WAY more open with that cage moved. I'm really glad!
I think this was a huge improvement!
