Pictures of Eleanor

Here are a bunch of photo's of Eleanor, starting with her as a baby.

This was her mom, Jazz (wasn't she pretty?!)

Then after Jazz died, the babies lived on our porch in an old crib.

(they're licking each other clean :))

(They shared with a few orphaned Lion-Head bunnies.  Abbey was the one sitting in the bowl)

And every single day, I would put them in a run to eat grass, dig, run around, and enjoy themselves.

Until eventually I sold all of them but Eleanor, and she got her own section in this hutch.

Canned pumpkin almost always does the trick, but not every single time.  She was still blocked yesterday, but I couldn't give her more, otherwise she'd go to the other extreme with horrible diarrhea which would kill her very quickly from dehydration.

I had been extremely optimistic in my outlook, but when I checked on her yesterday, I knew she would probably die during the night.

I went out this morning to see how she was.  She literally just died before I went out, because her body wasn't stiff yet.  She was an awesome and extremely loving rabbit who I truly wish was still alive, but she isn't.

My brother named the orangish female of Peanuts' babies "Honey", so I believe I shall keep her as Eleanor's replacement.  While I did everything I could for her, sometimes things just don't turn out the way we want.
