My Lops

I was going through looking at past blog posts and saw that one of my first posts was purely on my Lion heads.  I figured it would be good to update and do another post like that, but on my Holland Lops.

This is Sprinkles.  She had a surprise litter last week which unfortunately froze in the cold weather.

I'm giving her a month until trying to breed her and hopefully she'll have more success with this next litter!

She's a really sweet bunny, and she loves her food!
This had been Smokey, a female Holland Lop.  Sadly, she died while I was down in Tennessee.

She was really pretty and very sweet.  It was because she died that I got Sprinkles and Luna.

It's a real shame, she was very cute!
This is Luna, she's a young and one of my newest Holland Lop females.  She's really sweet and super cute!

I love her coloring and some of my favorite rabbits are those with spots.  I'm really excited for her to begin breeding this summer.

I'm sure she'll make an awesome breeder and a great mom!
This is Valentine.  She's fairly new to my rabbitry.  She's also a Holland Lop female and was actually just bred with Benjamin.

She's about 2 years old and a little skittish.  It should be interesting to see what type of a mother she will be!
This is Bruce.  He's my favorite Holland Lop male.  He's beautifully colored and did an awesome job breeding Cupcake last time.

He just bred with Cupcake again this past Monday and I'm really excited to see what this new litter will look like. :)
This is Benjamin.  He's my other Holland Lop male.  He's very similar in coloring to Bruce, but it's easy for me to tell them apart  by their personalities and head shapes.

He just bred with Valentine and I'm pretty sure he's going to have a nice litter.  He's a sweet heart, but loves to dump his food.
This is Cupcake.  In the grand scheme of things, she's a newer bunny, but my first female Holland Lop I ever got.

She bred with Bruce and I know she's a wonderful mother as she proved this with her last litter!
I cannot wait to see her babies and raise them up :)

So there you go! Those are my past/current Holland Lop bunnies! And I'm really looking forward to having lots of baby lops to hold in the near future :)
