English Lop

My English Lop female, Ragnara did not have a litter.  It was very disappointing.  So today, I put her in with my Holland Lop male, Gorman.

Gorman was able to successfully breed her at least once.  However, I like to play it safe.  They say 'third times the charm', and it seems to be true when breeding rabbits.

Since Ragnara is always unwilling to breed, we put her in an animal carrier and took her for a car ride.  This may sound crazy, but it seems to work! It's the trick for stubborn females.  After the ride, they almost always raise their tails for the males.

If this was successful, they should have some really cute babies :)

Ragnara has been with Gorman for a little bit now, but I'm not going to keep her with him overnight, as that's when she bit Oreo last time.

I'm hoping his blue eyes will go into some of the babies, as you can sell blue eye bunnies for more.  Not only that, but I think it makes them even more cute :)
