I had Dixie out with me today, like I always do whenever I go out into my rabbity. Sometimes she chases butterflies, or chews her bone, other times she just walked by my side, following me where ever I go. Then other times, she goes up to the different rabbit cages and just watches them :)
And the bunnies aren't scared of her at all, since she's been going out every day since she was little. They actually seem very interested in what she's doing. It's hard to tell by the picture, but all the bunnies ran up to the door of the cage to say hello to her :)
I'm really glad we built this new structure for the cages to hang off of.
:)
Hopefully later today, we're going to take an inventory on what we need to get so we can start building another structure to hang cages off of, totally eliminating our structure made of pallets. I'm not saying the pallets were bad, quite the opposite! They were great :) But they've lived their life. Boards are rotting, and since the cages sit on boards, instead of hanging, they gather poop instead of having everything fall through. Which makes it another thing for me to do, keep the cages scooped and clean.
Plus, it will look nicer having everything uniformed again.
I was trying to get Dixie to look into the camera...but it wasn't working.
:)
As you can tell, she's in need of a hair cute! Another thing to add onto my list of 'things to do'!
But she's sweet :) It doesn't matter how hot or cold or rainy it is, she loves going out into the rabbity with me.
