Picture Perfect

Depending on lighting, angles, etc. you can have the same image, but a completely different look. An example of what I'm talking about? Here we go.  First picture...

This picture above is one I received when inquiring about an ad on craigslist for bunnies.  And this was the only picture.  Looking back, I have no idea why I actually went to check it out. Because looking at this picture, that rabbit does not look terribly attractive.  But I'm very glad I did.  Because when I picked up the bunny, this is what it really looked like...

A little bit better, right?

Well, things like that can make a HUGE difference when selling a bunny.  I almost didn't get it, and looking back at that photo, I'm shocked I did!  Am I glad I did? Yes, extremely! But I probably wouldn't do it again.

That point aside, just looking at these two pictures; say you saw them on 2 different posts. Which one would you inquire about buying? They're the same in every way, price, personality, coloring, etc. But the one has a much better picture.  Most commonly, people will pick the second picture, because you can easily see the bunny.  Now, you might still think it's an ugly bunny, but it's much more attractive than the first image.

So there you go, just something to keep in mind when selling bunnies.  People hardly ever read your postings, they just look at the images/price and contact you.  And if that's all you have to make them interested, then you need to have good, clear images, and more likely than not, you'll be selling your bunnies left and right! :)
