Moving Time

Today I need to get Ragnara (English Lop female), Dotty (meat mix), and Saffron (meat mix) into hutches so they can begin making their nests, preparing for their litters to come this weekend.

So I moved Nickel and her litter out and into one of the hanging cages.

I think this will be good for them.  Plus, now the babies will have more space to run around, and it will be safer.  I don't have to worry about another mother biting them through the wire of the hutch as they grow and become more adventurous.

Then I also moved Tasha out and into one of the cages.

:)

When I tried sexing the babies today, I think 3 of them are females, and 2 are males... :D If so, that would be awesome!! One of the babies with a huge patch of white on the face looks like a female.  If that's correct, I think that's the one I'll be raising up :)

They're all so cute!

It won't be long until their fur starts growing out and they start looking a LOT more like Lion Heads :)

And I was actually able to get some good shots of Tasha's face today! :)

Normally the hair just covers her eyes...but today, they were very visible :)

:)

And also Shira was moved out, making room for one of the pregnant moms.  She's pregnant too, but not due for...3 weeks? :)

So in my triple hutch, there's Bonnie, with her litter and now Saffron and Dotty.

I'm hoping Saffron actually has a litter this time!

Dotty looks heavier to me...but I'm not sure if that's because of babies, or just her winter body :)

:)
